ZorBabis the Greek
If you ever find yourself in the island of Syros, be sure to ask about Babis
(Μπάμπης Γαβριήλ), one of the most colorful dudes of the Aegean Sea.
Babis' main profession is event organizing - fiestas, weddings, panigiria -
but he's also an occasional musician and cook and above all, a joyfull person!
So, the appearance of his old Citroën 2CV had to match with his personality,
don't you think?
We used Flame spray paint, masking tape and cardboard stencils.
The funniest thing is that the car was painted at the last day of Stray Art Festival,
the only street art festival of the island, while many other street artists and writers
were creating their murals and pieces in the same area.
ZorBabis the Greek Citroën 2CV was born in that festive atmosphere,
and to this day, it serves Babis tirelessly in helping other people celebrate!
